Ellora Caves Ellora is an archaeological site, 30 km from Aurangabad. It is one of the largest rock-cut monastery - temple cave complexes in the world. The Ellora monuments were built during 600–1000 CE period in Rashtrakuta and Yadava dynasties. Featuring Hindu, Buddhist and Jain monuments and artwork, they were built close to one another and illustrate the religious harmony that existed in ancient India.

Daulatabad Fort Daulatabad Fort, also known Deogiri is a historical fortified fortress. The fort was built in the 11th century CE by King Bhillama V, a Yadava ruler. Deogiri was the capital of the Yadava dynasty. Daulatabad was one of the most powerful forts of the medieval Deccan.
